We process both organic and conventional almonds in Jumilla. In this way, we have an organic almond certificate in order to be able to offer a product that adapts to the needs of the final consumer.

Almond shelling

We follow a meticulous almond husking process to guarantee the highest quality and freshness of our products. During the process we remove the shell of the almonds without damaging the kernel, thus preserving all the properties of the fruit. Almond varieties

Guara

Sweet flavour and rounded seed. Very common in Spain, since the plantation is very resistant to water stress, therefore, it adapts very well to dryland cultivation. Good production and good yield (between 35-40%).

Marcona

Despite the rise of new, increasingly improved varieties, Marcona almond continues to occupy first place thanks to its incomparable flavour and its exceptional processing qualities.

Largueta/Desmayo

Almond with excellent flavour, especially when roasted. For this reason, it usually ranks at the top of the most expensive almonds. It is an elongated almond with a hard shell, its production is not very high and neither is its yield.

Antoñeta

It is a sweet almond with a rounded shape. It has a medium yield and the tree's production is high. Very common in the Murcia area.

Penta

Almond of small size and sweet flavour. It has performance and its production is high. Its flowering is very late, therefore, it is recommended for areas with cold climates.

Lauranne/Avijor

Almond of French origin, the result of crossing the “ferragnes” variety with “tuono” variety. It is one of the most cultivated varieties nowadays. The seed has a sweet flavour and a rounded shape. Its performance is high.

Comuna/Valencia

Most common variety in Spain. It is born from a mixture of varieties of Spanish origin that have excellent properties. Its performance is medium-low and it is widely used by processors to obtain by-products.

Organic almond

High-quality organic almonds, since they do not contain any chemical substance or of any other type that could affect their properties. The treatment they receive during their production is also very respectful and has more precise monitoring. The main varieties of Spanish organic almonds that we have are Comuna or Valencia, Guara and Lauranne.

Almond pieces

Byproduct obtained during the almond husking process. It preserves all the properties of whole grain almonds. It is a cheaper alternative widely used to make other by-products such as flour, cubes, fillets...
